All SimpleTexting accounts come with unlimited keywords and a toll-free number.

A keyword is a short word of phrase that contacts can text to your number to subscribe to messages. For example, "Text SIMPLE to (833) 602-8038."

If you plan on using keywords often, you may prefer to switch from a toll-free number to a memorable short code.

When you switch numbers, any keywords you created will remain in your account.ย

Contacts who subscribed with the keyword will also be saved since they subscribe to you as a business rather than a specific phone number. ๐Ÿ‘ย

This mostly applies to common words such as "FAITH" or "EAT". ย Of course, you can always add a number to solve this problem. i.e. FAITH2019

If you have any doubts or want to check on the availability of a keyword prior to switching numbers, feel free to get in touch with our support team!
