Industry-wide changes are coming to toll-free number users. Given how common toll-free numbers are at SimpleTexting, we're laying out all the information you’ll need as we prepare for the new number verification process.

Toll-free Verification: The Basics

All toll-free numbers have to be verified to avoid service interruptions and blocked messages.

Toll-free number users will have some limits imposed on traffic, with the limits increasing over time. That's why we're so focused on getting our users verified quickly, so you never have to worry about disruptions.

This process is designed to prevent fraud and spam traffic. And although it might sound like a headache, we’re here to walk you through the whole thing.

Here’s the step-by-step:

  1. Fill out this form with information about your business or organization, including the type of messages you send, how often you send them, and how contacts will opt in to receiving them.

  2. Submit the completed form to our support team.

  3. Sit back and relax! We’ll handle the rest and let you know if we need additional information.

Benefits of Verifying Toll-free Numbers

After you verify your toll-free number, you’ll:

  • Increase your chances of fast messaging speeds with fewer interruptions and blocked messages.

  • Decrease your chances of your messages being flagged or filtered for suspected spam, fraud, or high-risk keywords.
